Westfield SEi wide body
This car was completed in Dec 2003, It was built by a race team Mechanic as a road legal track day car. The chassis has been revised
To allow for a lower Center of Gravity / lower & more controlled roll centre / increased castor / increased camber control in roll & bump,
with zero bump steer.
The car is running with 80mm ride height at the front & 140mm at the rear with no problems even on the back roads & speed bumps.
It handles like a dream, very controllable even on bumpy surfaces you can let go of the steering wheel with confidence, it has positive turn in
and progressive oversteer.
The engine management system is fully sorted it starts on the button and is very tractable around town, the engine is mapped conservatively
but still gives fantastic performance at about 340 bhp / ton
Chassis
modified Westfield with repositioned suspension points to allow revised geometry and enable chassis to be lowered 50mm
but still retain sensible ride height. The chassis is finished in black 2 pack
Full cage by "Caged" and head restraint, Drivers side has alloy honeycombed side protection
