Lola T400 Hu5 F5000 car was sold new to Richard Oaten Racing for Ian Ashley to race in 1975.
At the end of 1975, the car was returned to Lola to be updated to the VDS team's latest specification then sold to American Formula Atlantic driver Allen Karlberg
The car moved through various American owners over the next 30 years to Hamish Somerville in 2008. Used by Somerville in US historic racing 2010.
